Hello Lovelies! There is a new Van Gogh book out this week,

Van Gogh’s Ear, by Bernadette Murphy.

It’s supposed to have some new information and of course I can’t wait to read it!

Have you heard that you can stay a night in a room modeled after Van Gogh’s famous painting of his bedroom in Arles?

The Art Institute of Chicago offers a night’s stay in this room. You can read an article here.

Here are the rooms side by side.

The famous painting, Bedroom at Arles on the left. The recreated room on the right.

I so want to stay there!! If you have, please let me know.

Van Gogh’s Bedrooms

I am just beside myself.  I can’t even imagine what it will be like to see them in person. @ The Art Institute of Chicago.

New Van Gogh Exibit Coming to The Art Institute

I’m so excited and can’t wait to see this new exhibit in February! All three of the bedroom paintings (St. Remy de Provence, 1889) at once, the only time it’s ever happened and in total, 36 works will be  presented as well as a digitally enhanced reconstruction of the bedroom itself. Here’s the link for more info.
